Work Model: This is office-based job in one of our locations in Gdańsk (Tryton Business House, Jana z Kolna 11) or Szczecin (Baltic Business Park, 1 Maja 39) in Poland or Porto (Portugal) 

It's hybrid work model.

You need to uphold working permit in the location mentioned above. 

The role:

The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth by developing and executing sales strategies across assigned Business Units and markets.

The role manages the full sales cycle and key customer relationships, and oversees complex negotiations, tenders, and contracts. Working closely with internal teams including HSEQ, Legal, and Operations, the Commercial Manager ensures accurate forecasting, competitive positioning, and the successful expansion of MWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver commercial performance by defining and executing territory and account plans, managing the full sales cycle, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Lead complex sales opportunities end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams (Operations, HSEQ, Legal, etc.) to develop competitive solutions, pricing, and contracts.
  • Develop and grow strategic accounts by building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, expanding service offerings, and positioning the business as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive commercial strategy and market development through sales and marketing initiatives, competitive analysis, and continuous monitoring of market trends and opportunities.
  • Manage tenders and commercial governance, including proposals, frame agreements, contract negotiations, financial business cases, and tender quality assurance.
  • Ensure robust forecasting and pipeline management, preparing accurate sales forecasts, precalculations, and project outlooks in collaboration with Operations.
  • Contribute to business growth and leadership, supporting commercial strategy, sales training, customer care initiatives, and advising senior leadership on customer and account strategies.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of managing client accounts, commercial projects, and sales cycles
  • Knowledge of business and project lifecycle, sales processes, market insight, and regional regulations
  • Experience of problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, and results-driven execution
  • Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills
  • Experience supporting tender and contract management and stakeholder engagement
  • Solid career track record in complex selling, toward a larger global customer
  • Tender Manager talents with good Excel and pricing skills, and an understanding of P&L
  • Proven track record in managing own leads and transforming leads into an Operational Department
  • Insight in contract review and negotiations
  • Prospecting and networking capabilities
  • Skilled user in Microsoft Office packages
  • Fluent in oral and written English
