The role
As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in ensuring we source quality goods and services at the most competitive commercial terms. You'll work closely with different departments and projects to understand their needs, identify suitable suppliers, negotiate deals, place orders and track deliveries.
To be successful as a Buyer, you'll need a blend of analytical skills, strong communication, and a keen eye for detail. To secure the most favourable agreement, you will need to apply strong negotiation skills, technical understanding, and a holistic mindset.
In this position, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape and develop your own role and responsibilities, as you and the company evolve. The position will report to the Head of Procurement & Mobilization.

Key responsibilities
- Research suppliers of goods and services
- Prepare and organize RFQs, and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
- Qualify and audit suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Maintain master data associated with items and vendors
- Closely collaborate with key stakeholders, primarily Warehouse and Operations
Skills, abilities, and knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive working relationships.
- 3+ years of experience as a buyer or in a similar role.
- Superb communication and negotiation skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Well-organized team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems. We operate in Business Central (ERP).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred but not required.
